Timber Wooden Flooring

As all we Know, Hard timber flooring is one natural product, with each board consisting of a single piece of wood that is machine-cut to size.

After cutting wood to size, the process of our solid timber flooring means that it is taken straight from the saw mill to the factory for drying and finishing. Oncethe material is arrived, it is loaded into a kiln for air-drying, which will take almost a month but it’s mainly depending on the kind of wood’s species! From here, the Wood will cut in three ways according to your flooring look expectation.
Here are three styles -

Flat-sawn – The solid woods are cut in horizontally shape  and that’s why it is considered to be the most recognizable way of wood flooring, as this cut creates a distinctive triangular grain finish.

Quarter- sawn – The timber material is cut down into quarters and the strips make up the flooring. After finished, the flooring has a linear grain pattern.

Rift-sawn - The timber is cut into manypieces, and then complimented with a flat-sawn cut. This gives a horizontal finish of grains.

During cutting stage, the material is heavily controlled so that its moisture content is reduced - else, the timber can warp during storage. Once cut and sufficiently dried, the boards are packaged, ready to be ordered and installed in their new homes.
After few years of installation, flooring looks like old so there will be required timber flooring sanding & polishing services which gives totally new look to them
